We are currently seeking a Power BI Developer to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Job Title: Power BI Developer

As a  Power BI Developer , you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying business intelligence solutions that empower data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will leverage your expertise in Power BI and data visualization to transform complex data into actionable insights, collaborating closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to deliver high-impact dashboards and reports. Your role will be instrumental in shaping our data culture, ensuring the delivery of scalable, user-friendly, and visually compelling analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that meet business requirements and drive strategic insights.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, understand KPIs, and translate them into effective data visualizations.
• Optimize Power BI data models for performance and scalability, ensuring efficient data refresh and query execution.
• Integrate data from multiple sources, including SQL databases, cloud platforms, and APIs, into cohesive reporting solutions.
• Implement row-level security, data governance, and compliance best practices within Power BI environments.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users, promoting self-service BI adoption across the organization.
• Stay current with Power BI updates, features, and best practices to continuously enhance reporting capabilities.
• Work closely with data engineering and IT teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and availability.
• Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling is required.
• 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or related fields is required.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with a cloud platforms / services is a plus (e.g., Snowflake, Azure, AWS, etc.).
• Experience in financial services is preferred.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python for advanced analytics is a plus.
