Global Logistics Coordinator Location Marlborough, MA :

Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouses. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate various warehouse activities for optimal productivity.

Candidates should have experience global/international shipping & receiving, inventory, cycle counting, ERP

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for Shipping & Receiving and ensuring products and parts are shipped and received in a timely fashion.

Duties:

  • The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for facilitating, coordinating, and managing all domestic and international shipments and receive incoming material to inventory.
  • The position ensures that international shipments are in compliance with customs rules and regulations
  • Plan, prepare and process export, import and trans-border activities by country
  • Work with Trade Compliance while conducting day-to-day trade activities to ensure international shipments are in compliance including: shipping documentation, export license determination, Harmonized System Code (HS) classification, Valuation and Incoterms
  • The position has significant interaction with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Production, Quality Assurance, and Sales & Marketing
  • Follow proper business practices and standards as dictated by 5S practices

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in the areas of shipping, receiving, and inventory control
  • Experience in international trade compliance is a plus
  • Strong experience in Global Freight Forwarding and Customhouse Broker operations is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of customs regimes such as harmonized tariff schedules, customs valuations, controlled products, country of origin rules, free trade programs, import VAT rules, and US law on banned/boycotted countries is a plus
  • Knowledge and Understanding of transportation contracts
  • Continued familiarization, training, and research in all foreign countries Customs import and export Regulatory Compliance requirements
  • Excellent MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience working within ERPs systems

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
