Welder/Fabricator | Cedar City, UT

Nexeo HR is hiring skilled Welders, Fitters, and Fabricators to join a growing team in Cedar City! This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with great growth potential. If you have experience with structural steel, can read blueprints, and enjoy working in a hands-on environment where precision and safety matter—this could be a great fit for you.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints
• Layout, cut, fit, and weld steel components
• Use fabrication tools including CNC machines, saws, torches, and plasma cutters
• Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and material-handling equipment
• Maintain clean and organized workstations
• Track part quality and production activity using a tablet
• Work closely with the shop foreman and support a strong team environment

Qualifications

• 1+ year of fabrication experience preferred
• Ability to pass a FCAW 3G weld certification
• Familiar with AWS D1.1 standards
• Proficient with hand and power tools (grinders, band saws, squares, etc.)
• Comfortable reading technical blueprints and shop drawings
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Google Sheets)
• Positive attitude, reliable, and team-oriented
• Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions

Pay 

$16.00 - $22.00 Per Hour

Schedule 

Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
