At Doncasters we have an exciting opportunity for a Wax Inspector to join our team in Groton, Connecticut!

Hours – 2nd shift - 2:30pm to 11pm, training on 1st shift 6am to 2:30pm.

Salary – The trainee hourly rate is $18.19.

The Role

As a Wax Inspector, you'll help us to continue to turn metals into motion! Operating wax presses to craft flawless patterns with a keen eye for quality.

This hands-on role demands skill, dexterity, and sharp attention to detail, perfect for those who thrive on craftsmanship and precision. As a Wax Inspector, you will work from inspection procedures, specifications, photographs and/or instructions to visually inspect and check wax patterns for surface finish and smoothness. You may blend and repair imperfections such as flash, non-fills, air bubbles, core pulls, holes and cracks. A successful candidate will work from documented instruction and technique cards to ensure customer specifications are achieved.
