Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to provide high-quality care to patients with complex medical conditions. The RN will be responsible for patient monitoring, administering medications, and coordinating care with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' vital signs and overall health status regularly.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Perform necessary medical procedures and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar setting.
• Active New York nursing license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Telemetry experience within the past 2 years is essential.
• NIHSS certification required prior to start.
