Description On-Site Means they will be working at a Raytheon Facility. Raytheon is looking for a Radar Senior Principal Systems Engineer to support the Missile Defense Sensors (MDS) department. The MDS department provides subject matter expertise for concept development, architectural design, requirements generation & flow-down, modeling and simulation, systems analysis, integration, test and evaluation of world-class Missile Defense & Sensor Systems to be achieved through our people, processes, technology and performance. What You will Do: You will be working as part of a team to define radar system requirements, design architectures and algorithms in support of those requirements and collaborate with software development teams to ensure effective implementation. Some specific responsibilities: - Analyzing radar system performance data with respect to requirements - Identifying performance deficiencies and proposing solutions - Defining and prototyping new algorithms to enhance system performance - Presenting plans, designs and system performance to peers, internal leadership and external customers - Providing subject matter expertise to agile software development teams to ensure proper implementation of requirements You will be completing the above responsibilities in one or more capability areas including: - Electronic Protection, signal processing, applied mathematics - Hypersonic threat defense - Tracking, discrimination, search, and battle manager interfaces - Radar calibration, diagnostics, deployed site support - Modeling and simulation of tactical software Skills radar, systems engineering, matlab, simulink, requirements management Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Woburn, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $100.00 - $130.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
