Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) Location: San Antonio, TX | Start Date: ASAP - May 23rd | Schedule: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM | Interview Type: Virtual About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality speech and language services. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, assisting with clinical, educational, documentation, and treatment-related activities in alignment with the plan of care established by the SLP and/or physician. Key Responsibilities + Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in providing speech and language therapy services + Support clinical, educational, and treatment activities within assigned scope of practice + Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records + Collaborate with the SLP to implement individualized treatment plans + Work with students across all grade levels and a caseload of 35-50 + Split time between direct therapy and support activities as directed Minimum Requirements + Graduate of an SLPA program with an associate's degree OR bachelor's degree in speech-language pathology or communication disorders + Minimum of 100 hours of supervised field work experience (or equivalent) as required by state/contract + Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in the state of practice + Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice + One (1) year of prior SLPA experience preferred + TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable) + Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation) + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements + Must be at least 18 years of age Position Details + Grade Level: All ages + Caseload: 35-50 + Assignment Length: ASAP - May 23rd + Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM + Interview: Virtual Apply Now to make a difference in the lives of students and help them reach their communication goals! mamcloon@amergis.com Benefits At Amergis, we firmly believe that our employees are the heartbeat of our organization and we are happy to offer the following benefits: + Competitive pay & weekly paychecks + Health, dental, vision, and life insurance + 401(k) savings plan + Awards and recognition programs *Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
