Job Description
Salary: $131,300 - 177,600 per year Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting related to applications and infrastructures.
- At least 4 years of experience in specific technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
- 5 or more years of experience in IT development or implementation/consulting within the software or Internet industries.
- Proficiency in technical presentations, both in small and large group settings.
- Experience in web services development and deployment, and operational management in a cloud computing context.
- Willingness to travel 30% of the time.
- Preferred: Experience within the Higher Education sector.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of AWS services, and prior technical roles in a sales environment.
- Familiarity with state or local government and understanding of infrastructure and security standards such as HIPAA or CJIS.
- Proven experience in leading and developing high-quality, enterprise-scale software products using structured system development lifecycle methodologies.
Responsibilities: - As a Solutions Architect, I will assist in accelerating our growth within the State and Local Government sector by delivering innovative cloud computing solutions.
- I will lead technical engagements, ensuring the successful implementation of projects by defining architectures and responding to RFPs.
- My role will involve deepening my expertise in AWS technologies while serving as a subject matter expert on application and service security.
- I will also collaborate with a world-class sales and business development team, providing exceptional technical design and strategic insight.
- Additionally, I will capture and disseminate best practices within the AWS solution architect community, fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth.
