Job Description:
We are looking for experienced Sheet Metal Installers to join our team. Candidates will assist in the installation of a variety of architectural metal systems on commercial construction projects, including wall panels, roofing systems, column covers, and specialty metalwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install composite, plate, perforated, insulated, and single-skin metal panels per specifications
- Layout, measure, and cut metal materials with precision
- Install louvers, sunshades, grills, metal mesh, and artistic metal components
- Secure panels and systems using fasteners, adhesives, or mechanical anchoring
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Follow company safety protocols and job-specific safety plans
- Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition
- Work collaboratively with project managers, foremen, and team members to meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience installing sheet metal systems
- Familiarity with aluminum, steel, copper, zinc, and stainless-steel materials
- Ability to work at heights and on scaffolding or lifts
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Standing, bending, and climbing for extended periods
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions
