Our client, a leading healthcare organization committed to innovation and operational excellence, is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their Financial Planning team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a results-driven finance professional who excels in advanced financial modeling, data analysis, and strategic planning.

As a trusted recruitment partner, we’re working closely with this client to find a highly analytical and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to contribute to long-range financial planning, scenario modeling, and the evaluation of key organizational initiatives. This role offers the chance to influence business decisions and present insights directly to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting efforts to support key decision-making.

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the organization’s long-range financial plan, including scenario analysis focused on liquidity and leverage.

  • Support treasury operations such as cash and investment management, and ensure compliance with debt obligations.

  • Provide analytical support for the annual budgeting process.

  • Conduct cost variation and financial risk analyses using advanced statistical methods.

  • Analyze both internal initiatives and external opportunities from financial and market perspectives.

  • Prepare and present monthly management reports, identifying trends and strategic concerns.

  • Identify process improvements to increase data accuracy and efficiency in reporting.

  • Mentor junior analysts and support their professional development.

  • Lead modeling for compensation plans to assess and inform strategic design and financial impacts.

  • Stay up to date on healthcare and financial trends through ongoing self-education.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field preferred (Bachelor’s with additional experience accepted).

  • At least 5 years of experience as a financial analyst, preferably within the healthcare industry.

  • Strong command of financial principles and advanced data modeling skills.

  • Proven expertise in statistical analysis and financial forecasting.

  • High proficiency in Excel; experience with Tableau or other BI tools strongly preferred.

  • Familiarity with financial systems such as Axiom, DecisionTools, or similar software is a plus.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact confidently with senior leadership.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

  • Demonstrated leadership potential with the ability to work independently or guide junior team members.
