We’re looking for a friendly, reliable, and safety-focused Bus Driver for the Moran route to transport students on their daily routes and special trips. In this role, you’ll be the first smile they see in the morning and the last friendly wave in the afternoon! Your Role Will Include:

• Safely transporting students on assigned routes and trips.
• Ensuring student safety during boarding, travel, and drop-off.
• Performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintaining order and discipline among passengers.
• Establishing positive interactions with students, parents, and staff.
• Keeping the bus clean and fueled per standard procedures.
• Conducting state-mandated evacuation drills twice a year.
• Completing required reports and complying with safety regulations.
• Passing annual DOT physical and random drug/alcohol testing.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• At least 21 years old. 
• High school diploma or equivalent. 
• Live in Moran area.
• Valid State of Wyoming Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger and school bus endorsements (training provided upon hire).
• Ability to meet and maintain district vehicle insurance requirements - no more than three moving violations in three years.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Four years of experience in the transportation field. 
• CPR/First Aid Certification. 

Salary and Benefits:

• Starting pay of $33.55 per hour, based on experience, with salary distributed over 12 months.
• Paid CDL Training.
• Health Insurance - Monthly premiums are fully paid by the school district. This includes medical, dental, and vision for full family plans.
• The school district pays a sizable portion of a Health Savings Account ($175/month contribution).
• Retirement - School district puts 15% of salary towards a state pension plan.
• 10 days of paid time off, opportunities for overtime.
• Sign-On Bonus of $1000: after obtaining CDL plus 90 days of driving

Location & Shift Times:

• 2024-2025 School Year, 175 Day Contract, ending on 6/13/2025.
• Split Shift - 5.75 hours/day between the hours of 6:30 AM - 8:30 AM and 2:15 PM - 6 PM.
