Job Description

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

This position is responsible for billing all rental sales, tracking rental/used equipment locations and availability, handling customer rental needs, answering rental invoice questions and providing administrative support for the Rental Store.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Processes all construction division rental billings for Caterpillar and allied products.
  • Works with Credit Department on past due invoices and any invoices in question.
  • Verifies and maintains rental contract files via DocuSign and/or WebExtender.
  • Processes all A/P invoices and POs for Allied sales, some CAT machines, trailers sales and titles.
  • Occasionally assists with branch coverage when branch rental specialists are not available.
  • Processes and logs all certificates of insurance for rental equipment.
  • Process cash customer payments with credit cards or CAT card as needed.
  • Performs assorted clerical duties such as mail distribution, copying, faxing, answering telephones, filing, and typing miscellaneous labels and envelopes.
  • Assists in the training of new employees.
  • Processes miscellaneous reports (scoreboard, invoice exceptions, phone, etc).
  • Main POC for CAT Rental portal including setting up new accounts, managing incoming leads and customer requests.
  • Invoices Non-CAT new sales items, such as pumps, tamps and aerial equipment.
  • Compiles rental commission report for Rental Sales Manager approval.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education :

High school graduate or GED equivalent.

Work Experience :

Two years of experience with rental/sales billing, inventory processing and customer service.

Physical :

Ability to sit at a desk in front of a computer for extended periods of time.

Other :

PC literate in Microsoft Office.
