Salary Range: $50,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Kalamazoo that are seeking Recruiters. Key Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and recruit qualified candidates for diverse manufacturing roles, including production, engineering, and skilled trades.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition to offer acceptance for factory and plant positions.
• Partner closely with manufacturing hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Develop and implement innovative sourcing techniques to attract top talent in a competitive manufacturing labor market.
• Conduct thorough interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and facilitate the selection process with hiring teams.
• Negotiate offers and manage the pre-boarding process for new manufacturing hires.
• Maintain accurate candidate data and recruitment activities within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Build and nurture talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill manufacturing roles.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience recruiting for a variety of roles within a manufacturing environment (e.g., production, engineering, quality, maintenance).
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, industry trends, and specific skill sets.
• Demonstrated ability to source and attract passive candidates for technical and skilled trades positions.
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and various sourcing tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, terminology, or skilled trades.
• Experience recruiting for a unionized environment.
• Proficiency in Spanish or other languages common in manufacturing workforces.
• Knowledge of manufacturing-specific compliance or safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO).
• Experience with recruitment marketing or employer branding specifically for blue-collar roles.
