Role Overview:  As a PR/Corporate Communications Manager, you will be the guardian of SOULCHI's brand image and the architect of our communication strategies. You will craft compelling narratives that captivate, inspire, and align with our mission. Collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will enhance our brand presence through media relations, storytelling, and strategic communication campaigns.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Communication:

• Develop and execute communication strategies that align with SOULCHI's goals and objectives.
• Position the company as a force for positive change through thought leadership and brand storytelling.

Brand Management:

• Maintain and enhance SOULCHI's brand image and reputation.
• Ensure all communications reflect the company's values, authenticity, and mission.

Content Creation:

• Craft press releases, media kits, and other communication materials.
• Develop impactful messaging that captures the essence of our mission and resonates with diverse audiences.

Media & Influencer Relations:

• Build and nurture relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
• Secure media coverage and thought leadership opportunities.

Event & Campaign Management:

• Plan and execute events and campaigns that promote SOULCHI's mission and engage the community.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure campaign success.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a similar role.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build media relationships.
• Strategic Vision: Experience in creating and executing communication strategies.
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects effectively.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with PR and marketing tools such as media databases, social media platforms, and analytics tools.

Equity-Based Compensation Opportunity:

As part of the SOULCHI team, you'll take part in our equity-based compensation model, aligning your success with the success of our business. After much research we have found the fairest equity model for a startup. We use the Slicing Pie model. First phase is equity-based only, which we are currently in. Equity calculations move dynamically based on your fair market rate and actual number of hours worked. In the second phase, which happens at the break-even point, the equity freezes at each member's current earned percentage and compensation switches to salary + benefits. Your equity percentage gets paid out annually as part of the profit sharing. This is more than a job; it's an opportunity to own a piece of the future.
