The Red Gate Group is seeking a Policy Analyst - C-UXS to join our team and provide critical support to the Office of the Assistant Secretary of War for Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict (ASW(SO/LIC)) in Arlington, VA. The ASW SO/LIC plays a vital role in overseeing Department of War (DoW) policies and plans related to special operations, including counterterrorism, information operations, irregular warfare, and counter-unmanned systems (C-UXS).
As a C-UXS Policy Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting efforts to monitor, shape, and provide policy guidance for irregular warfare and other strategic activities, particularly in the realm of counter-unmanned systems. You will coordinate and prepare high-level meetings for senior defense officials, draft read-ahead packages, talking points, and meeting summaries, and track the progress of global C-UXS campaigns. Your role will also involve reviewing and overseeing the development of operational concepts and integrating these efforts with various Department of Defense, interagency, and intelligence community partners.
