Job Description

A confidential healthcare facility is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to support plasma and laboratory operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent patient service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy procedures and donor/patient screenings, including vital signs and finger stick testing.
  

• Collect, label, and process blood and plasma samples while ensuring accuracy and quality standards.
  

• Maintain accurate records and documentation using electronic systems.
  

• Greet and assist patients/donors, ensuring a safe and positive experience.
  

• Adhere to all safety, OSHA, and infection-control guidelines, including proper use of PPE.
  

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and report operational issues to supervisors.
  

• Assist with clinic operations such as phone calls, chart preparation, and donor scheduling.
  

Qualifications 

• High School Diploma or GED required.
  

• 1+ year of experience in a patient-facing role preferred.
  

• MediClear certification (or equivalent active healthcare compliance credential) is required
  

• Ability to walk or stand for an entire shift, bend/stoop, and lift up to 32 lbs. (occasionally up to 50 lbs. with devices).
  

• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and customer service.
  

• Basic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate digital records.
  

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
