About the Role:

Join our dynamic team at Planet Fitness in Salinas, CA, as an Overnight Custodian! In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our members during the night hours, ensuring they have the best experience possible.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of gym equipment and facilities.
• Maintain cleanliness in locker rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
• Restock supplies such as towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed.
• Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
• Ensure all areas are presentable and meet health and safety standards.
• Assist with special cleaning projects and deep cleaning tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service to members and guests.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

• Previous custodial or cleaning experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible schedule with availability to work overnight shifts (Mon.-Thurs. 10pm-6am).
• Must be reliable and punctual.

Compensation: $18.00 per hour
