Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our growing team. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading our company's network infrastructure. This includes designing, implementing, and troubleshooting network systems to ensure maximum performance and availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and other network devices
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades to ensure optimal network performance
- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement new technologies and improve existing systems
- Develop and maintain network documentation and diagrams
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and maintenance
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our network infrastructure
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Network Engineer or related role
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLANs
- Experience with network security and firewalls
- Proficient in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are a plus
