Job Title: MRI Technologist
Location: Birmingham, AL 35205
Shift Schedule: Nights (Monday-Friday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible extension depending on business needs)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Pay Range: $50/hr – $62 per hour on a W2

Responsibilities:
Perform MRI scans according to physician orders and established protocols, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
Operate MRI equipment efficiently and troubleshoot any technical issues that arise during imaging
Prepare patients for MRI exams by explaining procedures, screening for contraindications, and positioning appropriately
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of procedures, patient data, and equipment maintenance
Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality patient care
Adhere strictly to safety guidelines, infection control policies, and regulatory compliance standards
Support department workflow to meet productivity and quality expectations during night shifts

Skills/Experience Needed:
ARRT (MR) certification – Required
Experience in MRI and CT modalities preferred; length of experience and familiarity with different equipment will be considered
Travel healthcare experience preferred but not required
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently during night shifts
Detail-oriented with excellent time management and patient care skills
Ability to handle high-pressure environments and maintain professionalism during overnight hours

Education:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with ARRT (MR) certification – Required

Certifications:
ARRT (MR) certification – Required
CT certification preferred but not mandatory
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
