Job Overview Title: Medical Assistant Structural Heart Clinic Department: Structural Heart MA Type: Travel Contract 13 Weeks Schedule: Day Shift | Monday to Friday | 5x8-Hour | 08:30 AM 5:00 PM Start Date: August 25, 2025 Job Description Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant (MA-C) to join the Structural Heart outpatient cardiology team . This position is ideal for candidates passionate about patient-centered care and experienced in adult outpatient settings. Strong interpersonal skills and attention to clinical detail are key to success in this role. Responsibilities: Conduct vitals, hearing and vision screenings Record patient history, medications, and allergies Assist with procedures such as nebulizer treatments and immunizations Perform specimen collection including throat swabs, urine samples, and venipuncture Conduct point-of-care testing (blood glucose via glucometer) Handle administrative duties including telephone triage and pharmacy/patient refill coordination Assist with TB test administration, suture removal, and follow-up calls Room patients and ensure clinical workflow efficiency Work collaboratively within the outpatient cardiology setting Key Requirements: Must hold a current and active WA MA-C (Medical Assistant-Certified) license required at time of submission BLS certification required Minimum of 6 months experience in an adult outpatient clinic setting required Manual blood pressure reading proficiency required EPIC charting experience preferred Cardiology experience preferred but not required Reliable transportation required Must be flexible to float within scope if needed Qualifications Education: ~ Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program Experience: Minimum 6 months in adult outpatient clinic Cardiology clinic experience preferred License: WA MA-C License Required at time of submission BLS Certification Required Skills: Vital signs, specimen collection, injections, patient rooming, telephone triage Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to operate within a fast-paced outpatient environment Comfort with EPIC or similar charting systems ATD Technology, LLC is a certified minority woman owned business that creates opportunities to match qualified individuals with client programs while meeting all parties' financial and technical goals.
