Market Researcher Birmingham, Alabama **Open to Remote** Contract $30/hr - $33/hr We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to research market trends and provide actionable insights to the executive team. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and presenting findings on various industry topics, such as market shifts, tariffs, and business trends, through well-organized reports. You will leverage resources like paid business journal subscriptions and Google to conduct thorough research, offering expert recommendations on potential tools or resources that may need to be invested in. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar research or analysis role, possess strong organizational skills, and enjoy uncovering and sharing trends that impact business strategy. Example tasks include researching industry-specific trends (e.g., the impact of tariffs on the specific industry), spending dedicated time reading relevant materials, and presenting findings with clear, fact-based recommendations to executives. This position has the potential to convert to a full-time employee and is open to remote candidates. Contract Duration: 6 months **Required Skills & Experience** + Previous experience in market research + Excellent communication + MS Office including Power Point **What You Will Be Doing** Daily Responsibilities Market Research & Trend Analysis + Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, including economic shifts, regulatory changes (e.g., tariffs), and competitive landscape. + Identify emerging business trends and assess their potential impact on the company's strategy and operations. + Track macroeconomic indicators and sector-specific developments that could influence company performance. Executive Reporting & Presentation + Synthesize research findings into clear, well-organized reports and presentations tailored to executive audiences. + Deliver fact-based, actionable insights and strategic recommendations. + Develop executive briefings in Power Point. Resource Evaluation & Recommendations + Evaluate existing tools and research resources; suggest additional subscriptions or tools to enhance capabilities.
