Job Description:

Senior Java Developer

Java 17+, Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS (the more services used in AWS the better but don't need to be experts), Docker/Kubernetes, Gitlab, Kafka.

Notes:

Modern Java Development (Java 17+, Java 21 preferred. Using new features like Java "records", sealed classes, etc)
Greenfield Microservices experience
Responsible for own CI/CD process (Gitlab background)
Event Driven Architecture, Must have Kafka and AWS Event Bridge
Background working within the AWS CDK framework/suite
MUST HAVE either BaaS (Banking as a Service) experience and/or significant GL (General ledger, team using Formance product) and recent financial domain experience.
As user stories aren't as clearly defined, must have come from a product development background, heavy collaboration and exposure to user story refinement.
