Robinson Air is a family-owned and operated HVAC and Plumbing company that opened our doors in Lawton, OK in 2011. Now in the Wichita Falls market, we are looking for a skilled HVAC Service/Maintenance Technician to join our team of professionals. Job Duties:

• Respond to service calls promptly and efficiently, diagnosing and repairing HVAC system malfunctions.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting HVAC equipment to prevent breakdowns and optimize performance.
• Test HVAC systems to ensure proper operation, including checking temperature levels, airflow, and refrigerant levels.
• Identify and replace faulty components such as motors, compressors, thermostats, and electrical wiring.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues related to heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.
• Perform system upgrades and modifications to improve efficiency, comfort, and reliability.
• Document service and repair activities accurately, including parts used, labor hours, and recommendations for future maintenance or repairs.
• Communicate with clients to explain repair options, provide cost estimates, and address any questions or concerns.
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring availability of necessary materials for service calls.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, including proper handling of refrigerants, electrical components, and hazardous materials.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices through training and professional development opportunities.
• Collaborate with other technicians and team members to share knowledge and expertise, contributing to a positive work environment and efficient service delivery.
• Represent the company professionally, demonstrating excellent customer service skills and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in HVAC Service or Maintenance.
• Familiarity with a variety of HVAC brands, models, and equipment types.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to clients and team members effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

We officially opened our doors as a business under the Robinson family name in 2011… but our local roots go much…much further back. Lawton is our founder’s stomping grounds. Darryl Robinson grew up around here. He went to high school in Lawton, which is where he was first introduced to the industry as a young man back in the late 1980s.
As part of his senior year, he enrolled in an HVAC program at a local vocational school. After graduation it wasn’t long until he landed his first full-time HVAC job, and well, the rest as they say…is history. Along with a stint working for the Sheet Metal Workers Union, the Robinson name has been part of making homes more comfortable for over thirty years.
