Requisition Summary

PACCAR has an exciting Human Resources summer internship opening at our PACCAR North Texas in Lewisville, TX! The selected candidate will work directly with Recruiting/HR professionals, gaining exposure and experience in multiple HR functions.

As a Recruiting/Human Resources Intern you will:

  • Learn first-hand from top industry professionals
  • Work directly with Managers and Senior Managers
  • Develop mentoring relationships with HR leaders
  • Gain valuable hands-on experience
  • Expand your professional network

  The internship is scheduled to begin between May and June 2026.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain HR metrics dashboard using Microsoft Power BI.
  • Support recruiting efforts for a centralized recruiting team which may include scheduling interviews, tracking and monitoring applicant status in the recruiting system, onboarding, and more.
  • Support organizational development, engagement, and performance management projects at PACCAR North Texas.
  • Aid in coordinating and facilitating events for the summer 2026 internship program.
  • Identify and coordinate special HR projects to further the goals of the organization; participate in planning, project development, and problem-solving
  • Assist with HR auditing and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Skills

  • HR-related coursework or internship experience is preferred but not required.
  • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Previous exposure to project-related activities through active participation in system-related projects is desired.

Education

Actively enrolled in an undergraduate or post-graduation program, preferably sophomore, junior or senior standing
