Technicians primarily focus on utilizing their solid repair background to troubleshoot and repair equipment linked to engines, transmissions, differentials, electrical heating and cooling, braking, fuel systems, and hydraulics. Your role is vital in maintaining the smooth operation of both customer and company equipment by conducting routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs as needed, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately according to company guidelines.
🔧 What You’ll Do:
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical, HVAC, brakes, and more
- Use diagnostic tools and software to find and fix problems
- Perform routine maintenance like fluid checks, greasing, and inspections to keep equipment rental-ready
- Follow safety procedures and keep your work area clean and hazard-free
- Record your work clearly — what you fixed, what parts you used, and what’s still needed
- Work as a team with parts, service, rental, and sales departments
- Keep learning with ongoing training and opportunities to grow your skills
- Meet goals for quality, productivity, and safety
- Pitch in on other tasks as needed — you’re a vital part of the crew!
✅ What You Bring to the Shop:
- 🎓 A high school diploma or GED – Bonus points for tech school or trade certification
- 🛠️ Hands-on experience – Whether it’s through a technical program, apprenticeship, experience in the field, or "home-grown," we value skill and a willingness to learn
