Compensation: We will determine salary based on skills and experience in relation to the function of the role, as well as equity to any other employees in the same or similar role.

Your New Job 

Job Summary:

Our operating unit provides underground utility services, and we are looking for a Fiber Splicer to join our team.

This position requires organization, timeliness, accuracy and great focus to detail and safety.

 

Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):

· Splice and troubleshoot fiber optics.

· Fiber testing/OTDR operation.

· Represent Congruex and Client in a professional manner.

· Prepare vehicle and machinery daily

· Complete daily paperwork

· Monitors and verifies quality control and uniformity of work.

· Follows established safety rules on job site, to and from job site, and uses common sense in maintaining a safe environment for self, team members, customers, and public.

· Working as a team to complete projects.

· Helping Project Manager with any other duties as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· A clean background check is required.

· Valid Driver License with a clean driving record.

· DOT Medical card will be required before eligible to drive a company vehicle.

· Able to work in all outdoor temperatures and conditions.

· Ability to do physical labor, climb ladders, etc.

· Must have great communication skills.

· A positive can-do attitude and openness to trying things new ways.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

· Previous experience in the telecom, utility, construction, and/or engineering industry
