Facilities Construction Project Manager
Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 + Bonus + Robust Benefits Package

Hours: M-F: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. + Occasional On Call
Location: Windsor, CO
Position Type: Direct Hire

How you’ll spend your time as a Facilities Construction Project Manager:

  • Oversee all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, shell, roofing, structural, storefronts (including windows and doors), security and alarm systems.
  • Perform monthly utility meter reading and processing for billing.
  • Provide first responder attention to all emergency calls regarding fire, security, and maintenance.
  • Oversee all park infrastructure, including roads, lighting, utilities, streetscape, landscaping, drainage facilities, and signage.
  • Ensure compliance, testing and reporting for fire suppression systems, elevators, electrical systems, storm water, water, and sewer systems.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance team to address property and tenant issues, including repairs.
  • Conduct walk through of units at lease commencement and termination.
  • Support leadership with project scheduling and project management duties as assigned.
  • Prepare and review operational reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Analyze internal processes, recommend, and implement procedural or policy changes.
  • Plan, administer, and control budgets for contracts, equipment, and supplies.
  • Communicate with and provide guidance for external vendors and service providers.
  • Establish work procedures and schedules to organize the daily work of service providers.
  • Manage paper or electronic filing systems by recording information, updating paperwork, or maintaining documents, such as attendance records or correspondence.
  • Meet with other departmental leaders to establish organizational goals, strategic plans, and objectives, as well as make decisions about personnel, resources, and space or equipment needs.
  • Review contracts, regulations, and procedural guidelines to ensure comprehension and compliance.
  • Represent work unit at meetings or conferences and serves as liaison for requests or complaints.
  • Oversee execution of annual service agreements.

Skills & experience we’d like you to have as a Facilities Construction Project Manager:

  • 2+ years of industrial or commercial construction management experience.
  • Ability to read and analyze contracts and blueprints.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Proactive with ability to take initiative and follow through.
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Can-do attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Good sense of humor.  
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering preferred.
  • Experience in Microsoft Projects preferred.
