The Executive Protection Driver provides for the welfare, physical protection and security of a client by performing executive protection and/or transportation assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Provide safe and secure vehicle transportation for C-Level Executives to and from designated destinations.
  • Prepare and/or receive documentation necessary for the pick-up and/or delivery of Executives.
  • Utilize navigation devices and/or maps to determine the desired route.
  • Adjust routes as necessary to ensure Executives arrive on-time; provide updates if there are potential delays due to construction and/or traffic.
  • Prepare and/or coordinate daily activity reports, maintenance logs and/or vehicle records.
  • Serve as liaison with internal and external customers, office staff, and the public.
  • All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of three years of executive protection and security driving, military, and/or police/detective experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company. Must possess all current certifications required to provide services as an armed Minnesota Protective Agent or be able to obtain is required.

  • Security driving experience.
  • Law enforcement experience, preferred.
  • Military experience, preferred.
  • Emergency Vehicle Operations course completion, preferred.
  • Defensive driving certification, preferred.
  • Able to follow operation plans and manage trip requirements with little or no supervision.
  • Maintain a high degree of professionalism and discretion.
  • Able to remain calm under stressful driving conditions.
  • Rapid and effective decision-making during unusual or emergency situations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Exposure to sensitive and confidential information.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Attentive to detail and accuracy.

Working Conditions:

  • Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, and/or walking.
  • Travel, as required.

USD $40.86 - USD $43.26 /Hr.
