Salary: $85,000 – $100,000

Key Responsibilities For The Cost Accountant

  • Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and documentation across two manufacturing plants
  • Analyze and reconcile inventory and cost data; compare standard vs. actual production costs as Cost Accountant
  • Partner with plant ops to support cost control, budgeting, and process improvement
  • Support ERP implementation and help standardize cost practices across locations
  • Assist with journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities

Qualifications For The Cost Accountant

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred
  • 3+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in Excel; ERP system experience
