Job Description

Best Western Plus Oak Harbor Hotel & Conference Center in Oak Harbor, WA is looking for breakfast hostess/ host to join our award-winning team! Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and reliable.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and breaking down breakfast buffet area, ensuring a clean and inviting environment for guests to enjoy their morning meal. The attendant provides excellent customer service, attends to guests needs, and ensures food safety standards are met.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

Set up and maintain Buffet: Prepare and replenish the breakfast buffet before guests arrive and throughout the breakfast service period
Customer Service: Greet guests warmly, answer their questions
Cleanliness: Keep the breakfast area clean and organized, including cleaning tables, counters and appliances
Inventory Management: Monitor breakfast supplies and notify management when items are low
Food Safety: Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure food hygiene standards are met
Break Down Buffet: Clean and store leftover food and equipment after breakfast service
Occasional assistance in the Conference Center for events & meetings

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School Diploma
Experience: Previous experience in the hospitality industry preferred
Skills: Excellent organizational, multitasking, and verbal communication skills, Ability to lift up to 30lbs.
Food handlers license required (can be arranged through us)
MUST be available to work from 4:30am-11:30am
