Bar Chef (Bar Manager)

Location: The Woolworth, 1520 Elm Street, Suite 201, Dallas, TX 75201

Are you a cocktail artisan and bar enthusiast with a passion for innovation? The Woolworth, a leading restaurant and cocktail bar in downtown Dallas, is looking for a talented and experienced Bar Chef to take our bar program to the next level.

With a vibrant atmosphere, stunning city views, and a commitment to excellence, we aim to make The Woolworth one of Dallas's top cocktail venues. We’re searching for a leader who can craft award-winning cocktails, inspire a talented team, and help us become a destination for cocktail lovers across the city.

What You’ll Do:

• Innovate: Create a dynamic cocktail menu blending timeless classics and fresh, inventive creations using premium, local ingredients.
• Lead: Recruit, train, and motivate bar staff, building a high-performing, collaborative team.
• Manage: Oversee all bar operations, including inventory management, ordering, and compliance with health and safety standards.
• Delight Guests: Ensure every drink served enhances the guest experience and keeps them coming back for more.
• Collaborate: Work with the events team to design signature cocktails for private events and special occasions.
• Represent: Attend industry events and competitions to showcase your skills and elevate The Woolworth brand.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Bar Manager or Mixologist in a high-volume, upscale venue.
• Expertise in mixology, spirits, wine, and beer, with a history of crafting outstanding cocktail menus.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Certification in responsible alcohol service and food manager certification is required.
