PARRIS Law Firm is seeking a hard-working and self-motivated Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will have exceptional writing and oral advocacy skills, with the ability to be agile in high-pressure situations. They must also be equally comfortable working independently and in team environments.
Job Responsibilities:
-Conducting legal research to assist with case preparation and strategy development
-Drafting legal documents including motions, discovery, and letters
-Taking and defending depositions
-Handling mediations and settlement negotiations
-Overseeing the litigation of personal injury cases
-Representing clients in court, including arguing motions, attending hearings, and participating in trials
Applicant Requirements:
-1-4 years of experience in civil litigation
-Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar
-Trial experience is a plus but not required
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to remain organized and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
