Job Details The City of Plano Parks Department is excited to announce an opening for a motivated and experienced Assistant Park Superintendent to lead our Athletics workgroup within the Park Services Division. This high-impact leadership role oversees a team of 35 dedicated professionals and manages three specialized operational areas: Athletic Field Maintenance, Sports Turf Maintenance, and Irrigation Park Operations. As a key member of our Parks leadership team, the ideal candidate will help shape the future of Plano’s award-winning parks by ensuring excellence in field conditions, optimizing irrigation systems, and driving performance across large-scale maintenance operations. They will work closely with the Athletic Superintendent, Park Planning, Procurement, Budget, and other city departments—making this a truly collaborative and visible position with City-wide impact.

The target annual hiring salary for this position is $70,276 – 90,000, depending on qualifications.
