AML Analyst (Transaction Monitoring)
Seeking a contractor to serve as AML Analysts and assist with alert review and disposition.
Responsibilities:
o Conduct the first level of review on alerts generated via the automated transaction monitoring system and determine the specific information needed to manage the investigation.
o Manage a queue of alerts and cases and ensure timely follow up of requests and adherence to escalation procedures.
o Assist the group with analysis to optimize processes for improving correspondent banking monitoring.
o Assist other members of AML Compliance with ad hoc analysis and investigation requests.
o Know and understand the laws applicable to money laundering, including the BSA, the USA PATRIOT Act, US Treasury AML guidelines, SARs, and other requirements.
o Review and analyze AML current trends and news.

o Strong attention to detail
o Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
o Ability to multi-task and adhere to specific quality and productivity guidelines
o Strong research skills (including in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel, and experience with online research systems including web-based tools)
o Prior AML Surveillance and/or Investigation experience (preferred)
