Description DESCRIPTION Salon Services PRO is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the CFO with tasks related to Accounting and Human Resources. This is a part-time remote position, with a home base near Casper, WY, with the potential to transition to full-time in 2026 depending on performance.
The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. You'll be working independently from home, but may occasionally meet with the CFO in Casper for onboarding, training or touch bases. All candidates are required to have reliable home internet and a distraction-free work environment.
Key Responsibilities - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated in a clear, concise, accurate, timely and professional manner
- Comfortable with the use of computers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel – see requirements below
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles (e.g., debits vs credits) preferred
- Ability to quickly learn new software and processes and retain information
- Experience with one or more of the following systems is preferred:
- > QuickBooks, NetSuite, Paycom, Paylocity, or similar ERP/HRIS platforms
Requirements Microsoft Excel Proficiency (Required) The strongest candidates will be highly skilled in
Microsoft Excel . Required experience includes:
- Creating and managing multi-sheet workbooks
- Formatting data and adjusting page settings (e.g., margins, print areas, freeze panes, page breaks)
- Entering and formatting data
- Sorting, filtering, and subtotaling data
- Using functions such as IF, OR, SUM, AVERAGE, CONCATENATE, VLOOKUP, etc.
- A desire to continually improve Excel skills
Preferred But Not Required - Experience with pivot tables and recording/running macros preferred
